Elizabeth Foubert serves as Associate National Counsel for Chicago Title’s National Commercial Services (NCS) operation in Chicago. Since starting in the National Department in January 2018, the number and complexity of transactions she has underwritten and closed has increased significantly, with aggregate multi-site transactions exceeding $550 million. Elizabeth frequently works on carwash sites, storage facilities, and she has experience dealing with bankruptcies and mechanic's lien matters.
Right behind getting the deal closed, I find the collaboration with my customers to be the most rewarding aspect of commercial real estate transactions. While much of the communication these days is done via e-mail, customers appreciate that I don’t hesitate to pick up the phone to discuss title matters and to introduce myself. This business is about relationships and I enjoy building good relationships with every party in the transaction.
Elizabeth is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, a former Executive Lead Articles Editor for the John Marshall Law Review, and a former Harold E. Eisenberg Real Estate Scholar. She received her Juris Doctor from UIC John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. She earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology from Mills College in Oakland, CA. She is an avid runner, yogi, and cyclist.
